New Report Warns Of Climate Change, Could End Human Life
FROM-db Techno
Boston (dbTechno) - Experts have come out and stated that global climate change is the greatest threat to human health.
The experts were led by none other than Anthony Costello from the Institute for Global Health at University College London.
What is inside this hefty report is pretty startling to say the least, as global climate change is clearly the front-runner in terms of posing a threat to overall human health, and our environment.
The experts stated that as long as global climate change continues the way it is going, the world is going to be a rough place in the future.
The more global climate change takes place, the higher the threat is for generations of kids to come.
It is believed that in the next century, we are going to see a rise in temperatures by anywhere from 4-degrees to 6-degrees.
It is no longer the question, will global warming become a problem, but when will it become a problem?
The rise of global climate change is going to lead to a spread of diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and others.
On top of that, it is also going to lead to more severe cases of weat her with bigger storms and such.
The only way to try and slow the progression of global climate change is to act now by reducing carbon emissions, and trying to get the health systems up to speed.
The report was produced jointly by The Lancet as well as University College London, and will be published this week in that particular journal.
