No warming this summer

When I got up on Aug. 28 at 6 a.m., it was 59 degrees outside. A few months ago, we were 4.7 degrees below average temperature for that time of year. I don't recall seeing one day above 90 degrees all summer. The forecast for the last day of August was a high of 66 degrees. A low of 57. I don't remember a summer being this cool ever!

Is this global warming? Maybe it's an aberration in the bigger scheme of things. Maybe we are in a cooling cycle or global cooling. Sure looks that way today.

Some people are not happy unless they have something to worry about. One thing is for sure: I am not going to worry about global warming until the temperatures get at least into the 90s or higher. Maybe Al Gore and his gang are correct, and it is coming. But they may be wrong. I hope they are.
