Global warming ‘fixes’
The Star has officially lost it when it comes to the man-made global warming debate. The two articles published on 8/23 made little practical or scientific sense.
The first, proposing “man-made fixes,” talks about misting the stratosphere, building volcanoes, putting mirrors in space, painting our roofs white and all the rest. How many planes would be needed to do the “misting?” Who will pay for it? How much paint is available?
The second talks about how the Earth has actually cooled over the last 10 years, but the “scientists” quoted say it’s just a statistical blip, and get ready to be hotter real soon.
If you want the truth about man-made global warming, look at findings from scientists who look at the real data, like Richard Lindzen from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He concludes it’s impossible for CO2 to be a heat-trapping greenhouse gas of any significance.
Case closed.
