Something that you will not hear on your nightly news is that it was the 45 coldest spring in the record period which is from 1948-2009.
Environmental Canada breaks down Canada into nine regions, both of the Arctic regions are colder than the 62 year norm, Arctic Tundra 38th and Arctic Mountains and Fijords 35th coolest since 1948.
